You might want to get a cup of coffee or take a bathroom break before you start viewing this post!
I took 175 pictures and I think most of them are here....

It's cold out, and it had snowed last night.

Oooohh! Here they are are!!!!

I couldn't believe they were actually going to make it all the way up the driveway!

They got to the curved part, yikes, that is as far as they are going to get?! But no, look at this cool feature on the trailer! There is another small set of wheels under the back part, between the rear tires. It lowers down while the wheels are lifted off the ground, and then are engaged, rolled sideways, and moved the trailer over so that it would be able to make the curve. Once the trailer was where they wanted it, they lowered the rear tires back down and finished backing up to the site! The last picture in this group is of the tire tracks from the smaller set of wheels. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen!

Then this awesome trailer lifts up so it is level on the site, and here are a few of the guys unloading their tools. There were 5 guys that day.

This the end wall where the tasting room will be.

Entrance to the tasting room.

The window in the distillery end.

Vince had brought our generator up in the Kabota for them to use because they forgot theirs. They asked Vince if he could put the brace for this wall in the bucket so they wouldn't have to drive a stake into the ground.

The last section of the front wall.

They are unloading a bunch of trim and stuff so they can get to the roof trusses and looking through one of the windows on the end.

Starting the back wall.

The last section of the back wall. There aren't any windows there.

Starting the last wall where the garage door is going to be.

The last wall section!!

The walls were up by 1:00! Now they are getting ready to put the end gables of the roof up, these tall boards are to help hold the ends up until secured.

It started to snow. It would snow a little, then stop, then the sun would come out. But it stayed cold!

Putting up the soffit overhangs.

Putting on the roof sheathing.

I just thought the sky looked cool over our house. The sun was out at this time. Those are our shadows, we are on our vantage point of the dirt pile.

It was getting late, the moon has made it's appearance....almost full

Vince is checking it out, looks great!

This is where it was at the end of the first day! 5 guys did all this in one day!

what a great day!
